GHANA RANKED THE SECOND HIGHEST PORN-WATCHING COUNTRY IN THE WORLD.

PornHub has ranked Nigeria as the highest patron of its pornographic content in the whole world. Ghana came second at the top of the list while Kenya and Eygpt maintained the third and fourth spot respectively. Interestingly, although Ghana boasts of cooking better jollof rice than Nigeria, the latter has taken the top position on the list as the highest porn-watching country in the world. The world's leading pornographic company has released a list of viewers and subscribers from the Top 25 countries across the globe that patronize their products. Despite Ghana being a religious country with Christians constituting about 71% of the population while Muslims make up about 17%, PornHub says the citizens are the second-highest lovers of its pornographic movies, pictures, and skits. Man Drowns In River Akora At Gomoa Ekwamkrom

The body of a 30-year-old man only identified as Joe, has been found dead after he drowned in the River Akora at Gomoa Ekwamkrom in the Central Region. Sources say the deceased and his girlfriend went to the riverside to swim on Friday, but Joe could not come out of the water. The girlfriend informed the community members, who began a search but that yielded no results. According to police sources, Nananom [Traditional leaders] and residents of Gomoa Ekwamkrom, including divers, made every effort to find the deceased. However, these efforts were unsuccessful until fetish priests performed rituals today, Monday, July 8. Following the ritual performance, the body of the deceased was found in Gomoa Brofoyedu, a community near Gomoa Ekwamkrom. The body of Joe has been conveyed by community members to Agona Swedru Hospital Mortuary for preservation, while the police have commenced investigations.

3 NPP Members Arrested For Disrupting Ongoing Limited Voter Registration At Tepa

The Ghana Police Service has arrested three persons for engaging in a fight and causing a temporary disruption of the ongoing limited voter registration exercise at the Tepa Electoral Commission office in the Ashanti Region. The three suspects, Abass Abukari, George Vinor and Abdul Karim, were arrested on Wednesday, May 8, 2024, and are currently in Police custody assisting with the investigation. In a brief statement from the Police, it noted calm has since been restored as the registration exercise continues. The 2024 limited voter registration commenced on Tuesday, May 7 and is expected to last for 21 days. The Commission is hoping to register about 623,000 new registrants. Despite a few technical challenges on Tuesday, the EC said it has resolved all challenges and the process is running smoothly across all 268 district offices of the EC.

Two Dead In Motor Accident At Wassa Amenfi.

Two persons who onboard a motorbike in Wassa Amenfi East have died in a motor accident around 4:30pm on Sunday. The accident which occured at Wassa Ntwentwena, a section of Dunkwa to Bogoso highways was as a results of wrong overtaking. The deceased in their 40's are identified as Kofi Mensah and Kwame Ogange. The two heading from Wassa Domeabra towards Wassa Nkonya involved in head-on collision with a motorbike after the overtaking foiled. As a results, Kofi Mensah and Kwame Ogange fell in the middle of the road and got smashed in the head by incoming passenger vehicle. The other passengers on the motorbike which also involved in the accident sustained injuries. The corpse has since been deposited in a hospital for autopsy and preservation. Cancel Teachers and Nursing Training Allowance - University Professor

Professor of Economics and Governance Studies at the State university of New York, Stony Brook, Professor Emmanuel Kwasi Prempeh has advised government to re-direct Teacher And Nursing Trainees Allowance to improving infrastructure in the Colleges of Education. According to Professor Prempeh, the policy of paying Allowance to Teacher and Nursing Trainees so as to attract more students to the teaching profession is no longer tenable. He is therefore calling on the Education Ministry, Ghana Tertiary Education Commission, GTEC and other state agencies to re-focus and re-direct financial allocations towards providing infrastructure to the Colleges of Education. Professor Emmanuel Kwasi Prempeh was contributing to a media discussion on the delay in releasing funds for the payment of allowances to Teachers and Nursing Trainees. Meanwhile, Teacher And Nursing Trainees Allowance has been in arrears for six months now with some trainees speculating cancelation of same, altogether.

Former Gomoa Central MP involves in Accident

Former Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa Central, Rachel Appoh, has been involved in a near-death accident in America, Mypublisher24.com is reporting. According to eyewitnesses, the former Minister for Gender Children and Social Protection under the Mahama administration and two other Ghanaians on board a gray Toyota Camery sustained various degrees of injuries. The accident occurred on Saturday when the victims were returning from the wedding ceremony of a friend in one of the States in the US. The accident involving three cars was reportedly caused by an unlicensed Ghanaian female driver who was also at the wedding. An ambulance was called to convey the victims to an undisclosed hospital, the source said adding “Rachel’s right leg has been affected”. As at press time, family and close relatives of Rachel Appoh have been tight lipped over the incident. According Alan Cash since the E-LEVY has failed to yield many returns, it would be in the best interest of his Governemnt to cancel it. The 22yr old Ugandan mom , AFRICAN REPORT FILES learnt Ms Dorothy Nabulime will serve a prison sentence of 18 months for the charge of cruel and inhuman treatment of her baby and a six month sentence for the charge of causing bodily harm to the two-year old but the two sentences will be served concurrently, the Chief Magistrate told Court on Tuesday.
